Weighted percentage share of employed people in each NDC broad occupation group.

What this measure means

The weighted percentage of employed noninstitutionalized people age 16–64 whose valid occupation maps to one of 24 Observatory broad groups. The numerator and common mapped-occupation denominator are recomputed for the full weight and each of the 80 replicate weights. Employment includes civilian ESR 1/2 and Armed Forces ESR 4/5. Military includes OCCP 9800, 9810, 9825 and 9830; OCCP 9920 is excluded.
